On Easter Sunday afternoon, the members of Newtown Square Fire Company were dispatched to the intersection of Rt 252 and Gradyville Road for a reported accident with a vehicle overturned. Squad 41 responded under the direction of Assistant Chief Kevin Robinson and arrived to find one vehicle overturned on the front lawn of Spruce Street Baptist Church, and the other blocking the north bound lanes of Rt 252.

While the vehicle was overturned, the driver self-extracted before the Squad arrival. Assisted by Engine 41 as well as both Traffic 41, and Traffic 53 from Broomall Fire Company, crews assisted with leaking fluids and traffic control until the vehicles were towed from the scene.
