The Newtown Square Fire Company was dispatched just before 11 pm to assist Broomall Fire Company with a kitchen fire in the 100 block of Overlook Drive. Also assisting were Rose Tree Fire Company, Garrettford-Drexel Hill Fire Company, and Marple Twp Ambulance Corps. There were no injuries and the sprinkler system activated to contain the fire.
