The Newtown Square Fire Company was dispatched to the Marple Newtown Senior High School for an automatic fire alarm at 0502 am this morning. Ladder 41 made the response and found smoke in the basement. A small fire was located in the wood shop and quickly extinguished. Chief 41 called for additional units to assist in ventilating the building from Berwyn Fire Company , Broomall Fire Company , Rose Tree Fire Company , Media Fire Company Station 23 , Radnor Fire Company , and Milmont Fire Co. 49 . There were no injuries.
