With profound sadness, the Newtown Square Fire Company announces the passing of Vincent "Vince" Mazzotta.
Vince has been a Volunteer Newtown Square Fire Company member for the past 11 years. Vince came to Newtown as an experienced firefighter & EMT having served as a Volunteer of the King of Prussia Fire Company and the Darby Fire Company #1. Vince also brought his past administrative experience from his full-time employment with the Federal Government and as a long-time President of the Darby Fire Company.
His past experiences and knowledge led him to stand up and take the position of Recording Secretary shortly after joining Newtown Square when the fire company needed it. Vince served in the position of Recording Secretary until this past January. Vince remained an active firefighter/EMT with the fire company through last month. Vince was very active in all fire company activities and especially loved the wreath deliveries the fire company did at Christmas time and Santa Rides.
The Newtown Square Fire Company is thankful for the time that Vince dedicated to the Fire Company and our community both on the fire ground and behind the scenes. We would like to thank his wife Eileen for sharing Vince with us and extend our most sincere condolences to Eileen and to Vince's in-laws and extended family. |
