Founded in 1916 the Newtown Square Fire Company started with 51 citizen members. Today, more than 70 volunteer and part time paid firefighters provide "911" emergency response 24/7/365 to protect you, your family, neighbors, and all those who work and live locally.
Volunteer services provided by Newtown Square Fire Company members save Taxpayers over five million dollars every year.
Newtown Square Fire Company has constructed stations twice on land at the intersection of West Chester Pike and Rt. 252. This now very congested location has served the community for many years, but this property only has 4 parking spaces and no room for expansion. After years of attempting to obtain nearby land, the firehouse is being replaced with a new more efficient station on the Ellis Preserve.
At this time the men and women of Company 41 request your financial support for the construction of the new facility.
This is a separate appeal from our annual fund drive which goes towards operating expenses such as utilities, equipment, training and vehicle maintenance.
Your tax-deductible contribution will help fund a modern station with updated facilities to better serve the residents of Newtown Township.
