Late this morning, Newtown Square Fire Company was dispatched to assist Berwyn Fire Company with a house fire in the 800 block of Newtown Road in Easttown Township. A fire that started in the kitchen and extended to the second floor was quickly extinguished. There were no injuries reported and the crews remained on scene to assist with salvage and overhaul. Thanks to Brookline Volunteer Fire Company - Station 35 and Goshen Fire Company for covering Newtown Twp while the volunteers were working at the house fire.
