Newtown Square Fire Company along with Radnor, Gladwyne and Llanerch fire companies and Radnor Police assisted with the Main Line Chamber of Commerce’s Main Line Run. The 5k race and 1.5-mile walk raises money to support the Main Line Chamber Foundation’s “Hometown Heroes Scholarship Fund” which provides scholarships to first responders attending college and trade schools.

This year The Main Line Chamber Foundation was pleased to award the 2024 scholarships to 32 firefighter/EMT scholarship recipients representing volunteer fire companies serving the Main Line. Many of the recipients are working, going to school, and committed to serving as volunteer firefighters with their local fire company.
