Congratulations to our members Joe Brennan and Dalton Simpson who attended and completed “pump 2” class at the Delaware County Emergency Services Training Center!

Pumping refers to the water flowing through the fire engines pump, which is then pressurized and applied to the fire. This often involves large diameter hose, smaller hand lines and of course fire hydrants. This responsibility on the fire ground lays in the hands of the driver of the engine, often referred to as the chauffeur or engineer. Congratulations guys!
