On June 19, 2026 at 8:51am the Newtown Square Fire Company, along with mutual aid companies, responded to 3400 West Chester Pike, “C” building, for a building fire on the 4th floor

While responding units were advised there was a heavy smoke condition on the 4th floor. Upon arrival crews advanced hand lines to the 4th floor only to find the “smoke” was actually steam from a broken water pipe. The water was shut off and crews began the process of restoring the hose pulled off Engine 41. Thank you to our mutual aid companies; Broomall Fire Company, Media Fire Company, Rose Tree Fire Company and the Manoa Fire Company (Rapid Intervention Team).
