| Chris Young has held many ranks during his time with the Newtown Square Fire Company, from Lieutenant to Chief. Today, we congratulate him on the rank he is likely most proud of: Chief Master Sergeant.
Forty-six years ago today, Chris enlisted in the United States Air Force and served our country for 30 years. He continues to serve the community today, not only as the chief of the fire company, but also as a member of the Board of Directors for the Delaware County Veterans Memorial.
From his early days in Cub Scouts, it was clear that Chris preferred wearing blue uniforms. No matter which uniform he wore, Chris has dedicated his life to serving both the country and the community. Congratulations to Chris Young, Chief Master Sergeant retired, on your enlistment anniversary in the United States Air Force. |
