Volunteer members of the Newtown Square Fire Company extend our sincere thanks to all who have generously given to our annual fund drive in the past.  We recognize that household budgets continue to be stretched by the current economic climate.  As a fire company we too feel this financial pressure.

With regard to finances, generally citizens are not fully aware of how much a volunteer fire company saves residents of their community.   The National Volunteer Fire Council's cost savings calculator estimates that in Newtown Township, our dedicated men and women reduce the cost of emergency services to the community by $750 per household/year.

Last year our firefighters responded to nearly 600 calls for immediate help.  We sincerely hope that you never experience the devastation of fire, flood, rescue or a vehicle accident.  Rest assured, however, that your local firefighters and fire police are ready to protect you and your loved ones around the clock, every day of the year.

Your monetary support helps to finance the ever-increasing cost of protective gear, vehicles, training, building and equipment maintenance.  We hope that everyone will be able to donate at one of the suggested levels this year, but we only ask that you contribute what you can afford.  As always, your contribution is tax deductible and donations may be made online with the link below.
