2017 Chevrolet Tahoe vehicle, powered by a 5.3L V8 GM engine delivering 355 horsepower to the vehicle’s conventional 4-wheel drive drivetrain. Cab configuration is set for seating of 5 personnel.  41-8 is equipped with emergency medical equipment, automated external defibrillator, (2) Delaware County and (1) Chester County mobile radios, MSA Firehawk SCBA, Live Mapping / Pre-plan Program via the on board tablet, Case Commander Incident Command System.  41-8’s emergency warning lighting package is entirely comprised of Federal Signal LED lights.  This unit’s audible warning is comprised of Federal Signal electronic siren.

41-8 is primarily the Fire Chief’s command vehicle. Other uses are transportation of additional personnel or equipment to an emergency scene, as well as utilized by members for training classes.

2014 Ford Interceptor Utility vehicle, powered by a 3.7L V6 Ford engine delivering 304 horsepower to the vehicle’s all-wheel drive drivetrain. Cab configuration is set for seating of 5 personnel.  41-8B is equipped with emergency medical equipment, automated external defibrillator, (2) Delaware County and (1) Chester County mobile/portable radios, MSA Firehawk SCBA, Live Mapping / Pre-plan Program via the on board tablet and a Case Commander Incident Command System.  41-8B’s emergency warning lighting package is entirely comprised of LED lights.  This unit’s audible warning is comprised of Federal Signal electronic siren.

 

41-8B is primarily the Assistant Fire Chief’s command vehicle. Other uses are transportation of additional personnel or equipment to an emergency scene, as well as utilized by members for training classes. 

 

Engine 41

2016 Pierce Arrow XT cab and chassis, powered by a Detroit Diesel Series 60 power plant delivering 500hp to an Allison 6 speed transmission. Cab configuration is set for seating of 6 firefighters.  Engine 41 is equipped with a Hale Q-Max 2000gpm single stage fire pump and a Husky-3 Foam System.  It carries 750 gallons of water and 50 gallons of Class-A Nation Knockdown Foam. The unit is equipped with 2000’ of 5” supply line, (2) 1.5” front bumper attack lines, (2) 200’ of 1.75” attack lines, (1) 250’ of 2” attack line, (1) 300’ of 2.5’ attack line, (1) 400’ of 3” attack/supply line and 150’ of 1” forestry line.  Engine 41 has an electrical riser for an Akron deluge discharge monitor.  This unit is also equipped with a 6kw Harrison hydraulic generator.  Equipment includes a full complement of (6) MSA Firehawk SCBA, Bullard T3 thermal imaging camera, MSA Altair 4-gas detection meter, emergency medical equipment, automated external defibrillator, forcible entry tools, miscellaneous hose adapters, miscellaneous hand tools, (4) Portable Fire Extinguishers, (2) high rise packs, electric positive pressure ventilation fan, chain saw, portable lights, search and rescue, and salvage equipment.   Engine 41’s emergency warning lighting package is entirely comprised of Whelen Engineering LED lights and Whelen 12 volt scene lighting.  This unit’s audible warning is comprised of Federal Signal Q2B Mechanical Siren, Federal Signal PA-300 and General Electric Powercall Electronic Sirens.  The unit is equipped with Delaware County and Chester County Radios. Engine 41 is first due on structure fires, brush or dumpster fires, investigations, and helicopter landing zone calls.

 

Squad 41

2008 Pierce Velocity cab and chassis, powered by Detroit Diesel Series 60 motor with 515 horsepower with an Allison 5 speed transmission.Cab configuration is set for seating of 6 firefighters. Squad 41 is equipped with a Pierce 1500 GPM pump single stage PTO and a Foam Pro Foam System. Squad 41 carries 750 gallons of water and 50 gallons of Class-A Nation Knockdown Foam.  Squad 41 is equipped with 1500' of 5" supply line, (2) 150' of 1.5" front bumper attack line, (2) 200' of 1.75" attack line, (1) 300’ of 2” attack line,  (1) 300' of 3" attack/supply line, and (1) 150' of 1" forestry line.  A Harrison 30Kw generator powers approximately 13Kw of Scene Lighting, including a 24’ 6 Head Wil-Burt light tower and various hydraulic rescue tool motors. Equipment includes a full complement of (6) MSA Firehawk SCBA, Bullard T3 thermal image camera, MSA Altair 4-gas detection meter, emergency medical equipment, automated external defibrillator, forcible entry tools, miscellaneous hose adapters, miscellaneous hand tools, (4) Portable Fire Extinguishers, electric positive pressure ventilation fan, chain saw, portable lights, search and rescue, and salvage equipment. Squad 41’s vehicle rescue compliment includes Hurst Hydraulic Rescue tools including 32” Spreader, “O” Cutter, Combination Spreader/Cutter, 3 Rams, Simo power-plant with (2) 100' Hydraulic Reels, and an additional hydraulic gas power-plant. Other rescue equipment includes Milwaukee sawzalls, airbag lifting equipment, rescue struts, cribbing and stabilization equipment, ropes and riggings for light technical rescue, Water rescue flotation devices, (2) MSA Rapid Intervention SCBA Packs and a FAST Board Rapid Intervention Rescue device.  Squad 41’s emergency warning lighting package is entirely comprised of Whelen Engineering LED lights.  This unit’s audible warning is comprised of Federal Signal Q2B Mechanical Siren, Powercall Sirens Adam 6 electronic siren, and Grover Air Horns. The unit is equipped with Delaware County and Chester County Radios. Ladder 41 carries 400’ of 5” supply line, (2) 1.5” front bumper attack lines, (2) 200’ of 1.75” attack lines, (1) 200’ of 2” attack line, and (1) 100’ of 3” attack/supply.   This unit is equipped with a 10kw Harrison hydraulic generator, 8kw of Scene Lighting and (2) on board electric cord reels.  Equipment includes a full complement of (6) MSA Firehawk SCBA, (2) Bullard T3 thermal image camera, MSA Altair 4-gas detection meter, emergency medical equipment, automated external defibrillator, (3) Electric positive pressure ventilation fans, (2) K-12 Rotary Saws, (2) Stihl Fire Rescue chain saws, (1) Cutters Edge concrete chain caw, Stokes basket & hoisting equipment, four full body rescue harnesses, (2) Honda portable generators with 500w quartz light, (2) MSA Rapid Intervention SCBA Packs, FAST Board Rapid Intervention Rescue device, Milwaukee 18v cordless circular & reciprocating saws, full complement of tarps, and miscellaneous hand tools. Ladder 41’s emergency warning lighting package is comprised of Whelen Engineering LED and strobe lights.  This unit’s audible warning is comprised of Federal Signal Q2B Mechanical Siren, Federal Signal PA-300 and General Electric Powercall electronic sirens. Traffic 41

2010 Ford Super Duty F-450 cab and chassis, powered by a 6.8L Triton V10 Ford engine delivering 288hp to the vehicles conventional 4 wheel drive system. This vehicle was paired with a custom aluminium built by Reading Body.  Cab configuration for seating of 5 Fire Police personnel. Electrical power is supplied by a Raven 7kw generator which powers roof mounted light tower, vehicle mounted scene lights as well as charge equipment while the vehicle is not in station.  Traffic 41 is equipped with emergency medical equipment, automated external defibrillator, front and rear facing arrow board to assist with traffic control, (3) containers of roadway flares, (62) 28” traffic cones, (16) flashlights, numerous road closure and advanced traffic control signage and stands, police accident investigation kit, (3) portable generators, chain saw, miscellaneous traffic control devices.  The unit is equipped with Delaware County and Chester County Radios. Traffic 41 utilized at most fire scenes as full power to regulate traffic and keep crowds under control at or in the vicinity of any fire, they are granted police powers necessary to facilitate and prevent interference with the work of firemen in extinguishing fires.

2008 Dodge 2500 Mega crew cab pickup truck, powered by a Cummings I6 6.7L turbo diesel engine delivering 305hp to the vehicles conventional 4-wheel drive drivetrain. Cab configuration is set for seating of 5 firefighters.  Utility 41 is equipped with emergency medical equipment, automated external defibrillator, Striker Stair Pro chair, chain saw, and miscellaneous traffic control equipment.  Utility 41’s emergency warning lighting package is comprised of a mixture of LED and strobe lights.  This unit’s audible warning is comprised of Federal Signal electronic siren.  The unit is equipped with Delaware County and Chester County Radios. Utility 41 is utilized by members to attend training classes or local errands.  Utility 41 is first due on all medical assist calls, wires/electrical emergencies and is used to transport additional personnel or equipment to an emergency scene.
